Chicken House Fire

0635 hours on 2/25, stations 79, 88 and Wicomico station 8 were alerted for a working chicken house fire off of Millsboro HWY, in the area of Cooper RD. Engine 79-1, under the command of Deputy Chief Corey Davis, arrived to find one chicken house approximately half involved. Engine 1's crew quickly placed two hand lines in service and made entry into the building. After a quick response, the crews were able to suppress the fire in the middle and stop it from spreading. Command was terminated at 0828 hours.
