Structure Fire

At 2016 hours on February 16th, Delmar, Gumboro, Laurel, and Medic 102 were dispatched for a working house fire with a confirmed entrapment. Engine 79-1 went responding in just minutes with a crew of six. 74 command reported he was on scene and had heavy fire showing from the exterior. Command also reported that there was no longer an entrapment. Engine 79-1 was the first apparatus on scene, and placed two hand lines in service. First in crews made quick extinguishment of the fire and proceeded with overhaul of the home. Crews worked for approximately two hours before being placed available per 74 command. Responding units includes: Engine 79-1, Tanker 79-3, Tanker 79-5, Rescue 79, Engine 74-2, Engine 74-1, Tanker 74-5, Command 74-7, Truck 74-4, Rescue 74-6, Paramedic A-74, Engine 81-3, Tower 81, and medic 102.
